The appearance of the Umbro Drill Top on that fateful night in 1996 was one of the earliest and most influential moments in the collision of music and football cultures. Fast forward to today, and these worlds have never been more intertwined—but that April night at Maine Road remains a defining milestone in the crossover of sport and style.
 
The 2025 reissue of the Drill Top remains faithful to the essence of the original.
 
Crafted from 100% cotton drill, it features a garment-washed finish and a relaxed, boxy fit. The ribbed collar and cuffs maintain the original’s distinctive shape, while contrast inserts at the V-neck and forearms add to its signature look. Cut-and-sew seams with twin-needle stitching ensure durability, and an adjustable hem with a drawcord allows for a customizable fit.
 
Completing the design are the stacked Diamond embroidery and the iconic Pro Training patch, paying homage to its heritage.
