This is NOT a remake, this is NOT a reissue, this is NOT a rerelease, remodel or updated version, this is an original 90's Umbro Drill top as made famous by Liam Gallagher on the 2nd night of the sensational Oasis gigs at Maine Road in 1996. It became one of the most iconic looks in rock 'n' roll history! 
 
There have been many attempts to reproduce this top over the years, one very recently by Umbro! But none of them have ever got it completely right. I have included comparison photos to show the stark differences. (Note that this listing is for the 1996 original vintage top ONLY)
 
Whether it's the colour, the collar or the smaller details like the registered trademark symbal above the Umbro logo, the vintage original is still the only way you can truly match what Liam Gallagher wore on stage that glorious night on the 28th April 1996.
 
This is the holy grail piece for any Oasis collector, as a certain Noel Gallagher might say: "This is history, right here, this is history!" If you were lucky enough to get tickets to any of the Oasis gigs, this would be an outstanding piece to wear and I'm sure would be the starter of many conversations and the turner of many head's in the know who can spot an original from a remake! Alternatively, it could just as easily be framed and displayed, perfect piece for an indie bar or mancave!
 
ULTRA RARE to find! (Especially in this condition)

For a Vintage item that is close to 30 years old, this is in excellent condition. I think you will be extremely hard pushed to ever find a better condition version of this available to buy. To my eye, the colour of this has hardly faded from it's orginal colour, if at all! The only issues of note I can see are: The holes for the drawstring have come open a bit wider, there is a little bit of loose threading on the back of the shoulders and there is a little bit of dirt marking in the diamond's of the Umbro logos, but I believe with a bit of TLC this would come out if necessary. Label size XL but could also be suitable an XXL or 3XL (In saying that, once you tuck the bottom under like how Liam wore it then I think a wider range of smaller sizes could also pull it off with a baggy fit look, I usually wear a small and you can see how it fits me in picture 9) Please refer to the measurements below.
