This is NOT a remake, this is NOT a reissue, this is NOT a rerelease, remodel or updated version, this is an original 90's Umbro Drill top as made famous by Liam Gallagher on the 2nd night of the sensational Oasis gigs at Maine Road in 1996. It became one of the most iconic looks in rock 'n' roll history!

There have been many attempts to reproduce this top over the years, one very recently by Umbro! But none of them have ever got it completely right. Whether it's the colour, the collar or the smaller details like the registered trademark symbal above the Umbro logo, the vintage original is still the only way you can truly match what Liam Gallagher wore on stage that glorious night on the 28th April 1996.

This is the holy grail piece for any Oasis collector, as a certain Noel Gallagher might say: "This is history, right here, this is history!"

If you were lucky enough to get tickets to any of the Oasis gigs, this would be an outstanding piece to wear and I'm sure would be the starter of many conversations and the turner of many head's in the know who can spot an original from a remake! Alternatively, it could just as easily be framed and displayed, perfect piece for an indie bar or mancave!

Condition:
 
The condition is Vintage, this item is close to 30 years old and as such there are marks and signs of wear. I have tried to photo every mark, some may come out with some TLC. Please see photos for more detail.

As it states on the care label, because these tops were manufactured with a stone washing process, they were always designed to fade with washing. Over the years this top has faded quite a bit from it's original darker grey into a light grey / indigo colour.
